James Cameron recreates the magic of the Titanic in 3D.

James Cameron has recently returned from the far western Pacific, setting the world record for the deepest dive in the water—7 miles. He experienced life humans had never seen before as well as darkness, loneliness, and extreme pressure. James Cameron became immersed with the depth of the ocean, a place familiar to the Titanic—one of his greatest movies. Now, it returns in 3D.
In 1912, a giant iceberg collided with the side of the SMS Titanic. This caused Titanic’s hull plates to buckle inwards and sixteen of her watertight compartments to open. Water immediately started pouring in, and the ship went down 2 hours and 40 minutes later. Only 710 survived.
Cameron took this heartbreaking event and created a tragic story about two star-crossed lovers, played by Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet. Many people of our current generation have yet to see this historical and romantic movie on the big screen—until now. The movie was recreated by James Cameron for the 100th anniversaryof the sinking of the Titanic. With 3-D glasses, people will be able to see the Titanic like they’ve never seen it before.
On Friday, April 4th, this ship will take off in theaters. Tickets are on sale NOW!
