    Dear Matt,
I enjoyed reading your article. Thank you. I totally agree with you. Let’s focus on the wonderful aspects of Coach Lee’s legacy and move away from the Civil War imagery. There is no better time since this year marks the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation.

John Lee has no opinion on the Confederate flag? Sorry, Matt, but you have been duped.

Get rid of the flag. It is hard to fathom in 2013 that a town in New England attaches school pride to the confederate flag. The town, school and team deserve better. For a town that petitioned successfully to change the name of Walpole MCI to Cedar Junction it is shocking that they fly a symbol hatred, bigotry and backward thinking and call it school pride.
