Friends and families filled the stands of the Turco Field on Sunday, June 5 to celebrate the Class of 2016 commencement ceremony. Several Seniors were presented with awards, along with scholarships. Valedictorian, Kaitlin Porter and Salutatorian, Mike Sullivan both gave speeches reflecting on their time spent at Walpole High School. Alex Otero, graduate of 2016 said, “Hearing my name called to get my diploma and walking up there felt so surreal. It’s still hard for me to grasp that high school is really over.”
