Maddie Grogan

What is your sport and what are you captain for?

Maddie Grogan, Girls Soccer.

What other activities are you involved in at school?

Track in the winter and spring.

Do you plan on continuing your sport in college?

No, I don’t.

What advice do you have for underclassmen that play your sport?

Keep playing all four years, it is so much fun being on the team and making new friends.

If you could have one faculty member join your team, who would it be and why?

One faculty member I would want to join our team is Ms. Rafferty because she’s athletic and a well-rounded person.

What team do you look forward to playing against this season? Why?

I am looking forward to playing Braintree because the game is on our senior night and it is always a good game when we play Braintree.

Brooke Walonis

What is your sport and what are you captain for?

Brooke Walonis, Girls Soccer.

What other activities are you involved in at school?

Basketball, NHS, women’s safety and defense club

Do you plan on continuing your sport in college?

Yes.

What are some goals for your team this upcoming season? How do you plan to achieve them?

One of our goals is to make the playoffs and then hopefully make a far run in the tournament. The best way we can achieve that is by working hard every day and continuing to grow as a group.

What advice do you have for underclassmen that play your sport?

My advice to underclassmen is to always bring your best effort to each practice and game because you can always be the hardest-working player on the field, regardless of your ability.

What team do you look forward to playing this season? Why?

I look forward to playing Foxboro because last year they injured our former goalie, Catie Powderly, taking away her season in just the first game. Winning that game and coming back strong for her will feel good.
