The student government presidents are largely figureheads. It seems that there is never really any major change in school policy that is caused by the student government.
We have several very unpopular student policies within our school that can be changed, and I think it would be nice if our student government worked to make some changes.
So my question is where do the student government candidates stand on the issue of allowing coffee and gum chewing in school? What specifically do you plan to do to change these policies?
How much power do you think the student government has? Will you seek to change the impression that the student government is made up figurehead positions?
