We asked aide Erik Clinton a few quick questions about his WHS, his life, and buffalo chicken.
What do you do here at Walpole High?
I work one on one with a student, helping with day-to-day activities.
Where did you go to school?
University of New Hampshire.
What jobs did you have before taking up your position here?
I worked at Elm Street as an aide, and I was a custodian at a few Walpole schools, including the high school.
What is the most interesting thing you have ever done?
My friend and I went over to a movie set, to be extras in a movie. I don’t know if we’ll actually be in it, but it was cool to see the set and learn some things about how movies are made. [The movie, “Fighter”, stars Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg and will be released in 2010].
What is the most BORING thing you have ever done?
I used to work at SNS [Secured Network Services] in Norwood.
What actor would play you in a movie about your life?
[After some thought] Kevin Dillon.
What is your ideal vacation?
I would like to go skiing, somewhere in the Alps.
If you were stuck on a deserted island, and you could only bring three things, what would you bring?
My iPod, my guitar, and some speakers for my iPod.
What is your all-time favorite movie?
“Rudy”.
Favorite song?
“Yellow Ledbetter” by Pearl Jam.
Favorite candy?
[Without hesitation] Skittles.
Favorite store?
Bull Moose Records, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Favorite mythical creature?
I’m gonna go with dragon.
Favorite TV show?
Seinfeld.

Allmusic.com.
Who is your favorite character ever? Why?
Rudy [from the movie “Rudy”] because he’s able to overcome adversity.
Favorite class in high school?
Computer programming, with Mr. Neubauer, was the most fun I had here at Walpole High.
What is your favorite word?
Crunchy. I use it to describe anything I can.
Coke or Pepsi?
Pepsi.
Mac or PC?
PC.
Imagine that you are confronted with a true lunchtime dilemma: you can only use one condiment. Do you use ketchup or mustard?
Probably ketchup, because it goes with more different foods. I wouldn’t want mustard with my fries.
McDonalds or Burger King?
Burger King.
“Harry Potter” or “Twilight”?
Twilight, I guess. I don’t know much about either, but my girlfriend made me watch “Twilight”; it wasn’t too bad.

I don’t know. I’m a fan of buff. chick.
If you were trapped, at Cumberland Farms, in the void between lunch and dinner, which Chill Zone flavor would you choose?
Grape.
Superman or Batman?
Definitely Superman. I mean, he can stop a bullet with his eyeball.

Dog.
Would you rather eat a live tarantula or lick a hobo?
[Without missing a beat, as though he was expecting this] Lick a hobo.
True or false: Walpole High is the best looking school ever.
Well, I went to school here before and during the renovations, and I used to have a teacher who compared the school to a prison. It definitely looks better than it did back then.
