The Walpole High Wrestling team have a very democratic system of picking the Varsity schedule. There are wrestle-offs at each weight class and the winner of the inter-squad wrestle-off wrestles in the Varsity meet. The first wrestle-offs of the season are complete and the Varsity roster is set for the first meet of the season against the Wellesley Raiders on Friday December 11 at Wellesley High School. The Rebels dominated the meet and won 65-13. Wellesley received six of their thirteen points because of a forfeit at the heavyweight weight class. Walpole will be even more of a force in their upcoming meet against Norwood on December 15 at Norwood High because they will have their heavyweight Dan Woods.
