girls should be allowed to play on boys Lacrosse teams and women should be allowed to play on boys lacrosse teams too then they go under the same rules as the boys and the men do and wear the same equipment as well. This 2018 now not the 1960’s and under.

Thank you so much for writing this, I completely agree. Defense has always been my forte and it’s so frustrating knowing that I constantly have to worry about all the tiny technicalities which prevent me from being able to truly place full force.

I honestly don’t agree. I play girl’s Lacrosse and it’s still pretty physical, we go home with bruises, broken fingers, concussions, all the things boys get too. I also noticed that you said that a girl’s Lacrosse field is shorter than a boys which is incorrect, girls Lacrosse fields are longer than boys. You also said that girls Lacrosse requires 5 defenders stay back which is incorrect it only requires 4 like boys Lacrosse. The only real difference between the two is that girl’s Lacrosse requires more strategy while boys Lacrosse requires brute force. All in all I find that girl’s Lacrosse requires more skill and is still extremely fast paced.

I’m really grateful for your article, and I fully agree with you! Fortunately, my university’s lacrosse accepts women in the men’s team and vice-versa. But not everybody is so lucky and I’d love to see a women’s team that is playing with the men’s rules.

Im so glad you’re speaking out against this inequality! I’ve been playing girls lacrosse for 7 years now and I have to say playing defense with little to no physical contact is very difficult. I would also love to see a change in the uniforms, running around in a skirt is not the most easy thing in the world. I really hope more people see your article and something can be done about the sport! Good luck!

I love this article!! I have played girls lacrosse my whole life and have always questioned the sexist rules this game has. I really wish that they would make our sports equal.
