On week six of ABC’s “The Bachelor,” Juan Pablo and the ladies traveled to New Zealand, where they admired the natural beauty of the island, and some relationships grew stronger. The episode aired February 10 at 8pm, and as more ladies are eliminated from the show, the competition for Juan Pablo’s heart has become much fiercer. Instead of the early dismissals that were based on first impressions, these mid-season dismissals are personalized judgments of character. After this week’s episode, the Rose Rankings are as follows:
1. Andi — Last week, she finally got her one-on-one date; subsequently, Andi’s relationship with Juan Pablo has become one of the most natural ones on the show. There has always been a natural intimacy between the two, and on their group date they showed how comfortable they are around each other. Andi’s sense of humor and great personality will definitely earn her a rose on Monday.
2. Renee — Now that Cassandra is gone, Renee is the only mom left on the show. Juan Pablo and Renee connect in a way that he does not with any of the other ladies, and their conversations about their children — and about the childish behavior of some women on the show — have brought them closer together. Renee’s sweet personality and maternal instinct make her a great fit for the bachelor.
3. Nikki — She finally opened up to Juan Pablo, and Nikki’s honesty is a huge asset. She’s been involved in drama concerning the other girls, but Nikki left that behind her to focus solely on her relationship with Juan Pablo. They bonded on their one-on-one date last week, and Nikki left quite the impression on the bachelor after talking about how much she loves her job helping children.
4. Clare — Her fight with Juan Pablo put their relationship in jeopardy, but Clare ranks higher than Sharleen and Chelsie this week because on their one-on-one date, she cleared up the misunderstanding with the bachelor. Juan Pablo has not had a strong connection with Clare on an emotional level, but he has an obvious physical attraction to her. Clare doesn’t have the best relationship with Juan Pablo, but her time on the show isn’t over yet.
5. Sharleen — Although Juan Pablo is definitely attracted to her, Sharleen is not as emotionally invested in their relationship. Sharleen has been open about her disinterest in the bachelor, yet she continues to lead him on. Maybe she’ll finally follow through with her threats to leave and pack her bags on on Monday’s episode.
6. Chelsie — She got along great with Juan Pablo on their one-on-one date — and Chelsie has a great personality — but she is blending in with the other girls. She’ll probably follow in Kat’s footsteps and be sent home next episode without rose.
The next episode of “The Bachelor” airs February 17 at 8pm on ABC. They girls and Juan Pablo will travel to Miami.
