After an 0-2 start, Walpole bounced back with victories against Dedham and Framingham. With a 2-2 record, Walpole Boys Track then defeated Milton 76-60 on Monday, May 5 and Norwood 91-45 on Wednesday, May 7 to bring their record to 4-2. Although these victories gave them an opportunity to win the Herget, they ultimately lost to Natick by a score of 70-66 to end their dual meet season 4-3.
