At the Walpole Boys and Girls Cross Country home-opener against Braintree and Weymouth on Tuesday, September 16, senior Captain Allie Morris set the new varsity course record with a time of 15:11. Although Morris set the course record to help the team beat Braintree, the team ultimately lost a close meet to Weymouth to make their record 3-2. In a strong team performance, the boys beat both Braintree and Weymouth to make their record 3-2. These teams take on Brookline and Norwood today.
