Walpole Swim competed at MIAA State Tournament on Sunday, November 15 at 7pm at Harvard in Blodgatt Pool. The team sent seven athletes: freshman Carlie Cavanaugh, sophomore Kelly Fogarty, juniors Julia Muller and Catherine Shivers, and seniors Katie Smith, Helen and Mary Hinton. Katie Smith won the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard freestyle to become the State Champion in both events. Muller placed 14th in the 200 IM with a new personal record. For relays, the Rebels placed 8th in the 200 yard relay and set a new personal record in the 400 yard relay.
