After multiple Advanced Placement language exams in May, Walpole High held its annual Foreign Language Awards Night on Tuesday, May 19. Beginning with Latin and ending with Spanish, the event took place in the auditorium at 7 pm. Throughout the night, each AP language class performed for the audience. German III/ IV sang “Let It Go,” AP Spanish danced to “Baliendo,” AP French danced to “Papaoutai” by Stomae, and AP Latin presented its victorious chariot team. This is the second year seniors Danny Bean and Mike Bloom, and Junior Ian Fair won the chariot race at Holy Cross’s Classic Day- an all day Latin Event. Multiple students received awards for their achievements in Latin, German, French, and Spanish. The Students and their families then celebrated with refreshments in the lobby following the event.
