Members of Walpole High Student Council attended the Massachusetts Association of Student Council’s annual Bocce tournament at Whitman Hanson High School on November 21. Partnering with the Special Olympics Foundation, MASC invited students from across Massachusetts to participate with students from the special education departments in their schools. While two teams from Walpole High played on the court, other students chose to be the fans in the stands and cheered on friends and classmates. “It was a fun day,” said senior Shannon Baker. “We had an awesome time, and it was great playing bocce with the other towns.”
