Currently 2-0, Walpole Girls Basketball faced Natick in their season opener at home on Friday, December 11. With new head coach, Dave Wall, the girls overcame a sixteen point deficit to win their home opener, 40-37. Junior Captain Melanie Weber said, “With a new season, new coach, and pretty much a new program, we wanted to start the season on a high note and knew we had to come out very strong to lay the foundation for the season ahead of us.” Photos by Ellie Kalemkeridis.
