On Friday, Jan. 8, students attended the 5th annual Winter Ball in the Walpole High School cafeteria. With close to 300 attendees, Student Council raised just over $1000. Despite talk about the potential use of breathalyzers at all upcoming school dances, attendance remained high and students enjoyed a night dancing with their peers. Sophomore Stu-Co Representative Emily Ball said, “All of Stu-Co’s hardwork and planning for the dance paid off, as the dance was a bigger success than we had anticipated.” After such a successful night, Student Council and the rest of the student body looks forward to the upcoming Rebel Rave in March.
