Walpole Cross Country competed at the Division Three Divisionals meet at the Wrentham Developmental Center on Saturday, November 12. The Boy’s Divisional Meet began at 2:45. They placed 5th overall and the team will not advance to all states. Junior Sebastian Almer led the Walpole Boys throughout the race. The Girl’s Divisional Meet started at 1:25 and ended in a first place win for the Rebels. This is the first time the Walpole High School Girls Cross Country Team has won the Division Three Meet, finishing with a total group time of 1:40:24.06. Danielle Borelli finished in fifth place, leading the Rebels with a time of 19:51.82. The entire Girl’s team will advance to All States this Saturday, November 19. “Our biggest focus since the beginning of the season has been on placing at Divisionals as a team and progressing to All States,” said junior Danielle Borelli, “As a member of the first Girls cross country team in Walpole history to move on to all states, I can not be more satisfied with my team mates for achieving our goal.”
