10. Twitter–Twitter has been all the rage this year. People giving play by plays of their day, because they think everyone really does care about what happened to them during every second of their day. People feel like celebrities putting their lives out there for everyone to see, which is pretty cool.
9. Vampires–Just because Twilight was hugely popular doesn’t mean that everyone can make millions off of vampires. Every show and movie about people who eat other people but end up falling in love with a human have become redundant.
8. Reality TV–It’s TV and it’s real. What more could you want? Sitting on your couch vicariously living through staged, yet “real”, TV characters is the epitome of “the American Dream.”
7. Boots–Everyone is wearing them, so that must mean they’re awesome! They are fabulously comfy and great for the winter months. They keep snow off of your feet and jeans-even when there’s NO snow! However, the level of comfort outweighs the ridiculous looks.
6. Ke$ha–Who doesn’t like waking up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy? Way to state the obvious Ke$ha. It would just be great if you could elaborate on why the ‘S’ in your name is a dollar sign.
5. Snuggies–Who knew it was such a challenge to use a blanket? Now when you need to answer the phone or access your hot cocoa from under your blanket, the blanket with sleeves solves all of your problems.
4. Shape-ups–These shoes are designed to help you tone your body while just walking. While they might be a good idea in theory, these shoes look ridiculous. They have a huge platform and are not the most attractive shoes, even if they do make your legs look smokin’ hot.
3. Justin Bieber Haircut–It pretty much looks like Justin Bieber stood in a wind tunnel and then put loads of product in his hair resulting in a bowl cut with wings. Unfortunately, this haircut became infamous with the Bieber Fever sweeping across the nation.
2. Jeggings–Jean leggings. Comfortable, yet casual super stretchy skinny jeans. Some people can rock them, but some people, like Conan O’Brien, just don’t look so good. If they work on you though, then keep rockin’ them because they can be super cute.
1. Silly Bandz–Super stylish rubber bands that are worn as bracelets and come in different shapes! There are princess shapes, animal shapes, sports shapes, food shapes, etc. Obviously these bracelets are designed for little kids, but high school students have been sporting the accessory. Collect all one million! Really, do it. They are pretty cool.
