Walpole Boys Lacrosse played on the Turco Field against Scituate on Saturday May 6 at 5pm. The game ended in an11-3 win for the Rebels. Scituate tied the game 1-1 in the first quarter. At the start of the second quarter, Senior Captain Owen Hunter scored the next goal to put the Rebels ahead for the rest of the game. During the second quarter, the Rebels came back aggressively, with the offense keeping possession for the majority of the game. The Rebels now hold a record of 12-1, and their next game is Thursday May 16, 4:00 at Newton North. “We got out there and played our game,” said senior Tommy Wilber. “Our offense played really well in the first half and the defense played really well all around. Playing as a team we’ve gotten better and we have rebounded from our needham lost.”
