Walpole Girls Soccer had their first home game at Bird Middle School against Brookline on Sept. 9. The game started at 4:15 and ended in a loss of 2-1 for the Rebels. Junior Maria Toumbouras scored the lone goal. “As good as it would be to get a win, I am extremely proud and happy with everyone’s effort, considering we lost 7-0 to them last year,” said junior Captain Megan Brigham. Their record now 2-2, Walpole Girls Soccer will play against Natick on Friday at 3:45 at Natick High School.
