Members of the WHS Creative Writing Club showcased their work from this past fall on Tuesday, Nov 21 at Barnes and Nobles Bookstore in Walpole. Student shared poems in front of fellow students, families and Walpole residents. Writers from all four grades participated and Walpole residents of all ages came to support the poets. “The poetry reading is an experience for writers to showcase their talents in front of an audience in a relaxed and upbeat atmosphere,” junior Catherine Hurwitz said. “From humorous, rhyming poems to deeper, free verse poems, students were able to demonstrate both their diversity as people and common interest to express themselves through the written word.”
