Rebels Boys Hockey ended their tournament run against Braintree on Feb. 28. The Rebels found the back of the net first, with senior Cullen McGlynn scoring in the first period. Braintree finally pierced the Rebels defense and snuck the puck past senior goalie Mike Panciocco in the second period. The third period went back and forth between the two teams until finally with less than 5 minutes left of regulation time, Braintree scored a goal to put them up 2-1. With one minute left, Coach Ron Dowd pulled Panciocco in order to have 6 skating players and put more pressure on Braintree’s team. Braintree got possession of the puck and shot it down the rink into the open net to make the score 3-1.
