When did you first begin playing the sport?
I started playing volleyball in 6th grade.
Do you want to play this sport in college?
I am already committed to Bryant University.
Who was a prominent coach in your sports career? Why?
Richard Barton was a prominent coach in my sports career because I have known him since I began playing the sport, and he has always been very encouraging and has taught me lessons about not only volleyball, but also life. Coach Cyr also has been involved in my volleyball career, as she has been my high school coach for the past four years!
What other activities/clubs are you involved in?
I am a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Club. I also volunteer at Johnson Middle School.
How do you feel going into this season?
I feel very confident in my team going into this season. We all work well together and everyone is motivated to get better.
What are some goals set for the team this coming season?/How do you plan to achieve these goals?
This season we want to win the Herget Division for the third year in a row, and we are hoping to win our Bay State Conference this year as well.
Who are some big opponents/rivals? Why?
Our biggest rivals are probably Milton and Natick since they are strong teams and usually very competitive matches.
Do you think the team will make tournament?/How far do you think you’ll make it?
We started off our season strong, beating the reigning state champions (Newton North) in our first match, so I think we will make tournament and have the potential to do very well.
Does your team have a website or anything that contains pictures, statistics, etc.?
We have an Instagram account (reb_vol) and a Twitter that we post on a lot. Maxpreps is a website with all of our stats!
Are there any games in particular that you want the Rebellion to cover?
Senior night against Natick (10/18) at Elm!

I started playing volleyball my freshman year of high school.
Do you want to play this sport in college?
No.
Who was a prominent coach in your sports career? Why?
Coach Cyr was a prominent coach in my sports career because she trusted me as an underclassmen to step up and play on her team, and I have learned a lot from her both on and off the court.
What other activities/clubs are you involved in?
I play softball and am a member of the National Honors Society and the Spanish Club.
How do you feel going into this season?
I think we will have a great season this year. We just beat the defending state champions (Newton North), so it will be exciting to see what else we can accomplish.
What are some goals set for the team this coming season?/How do you plan to achieve these goals?
One major goal for our team is to win the Herget and Bay State League this season. We take it one game at a time and focus on playing our own game instead of worrying about the opponent too much.
Who are some big opponents/rivals? Why?
Milton is one of our rivals because we always match up well with them and it is a very competitive game. Norwood is another big rival because we have always competed with them for the Herget in the past.
Do you think the team will make tournament?/How far do you think you’ll make it?
I think we have a really good chance at making tournament this year and think that we have the potential to make it pretty far.

Maxpreps has all of our stats and the schedule for the season and we also have an Instagram (reb_vol) that we post pictures and videos on a lot.
Are there any games in particular that you want the Rebellion to cover?
Our senior night is against Natick on Thursday 10/18.

6th grade.
Do you want to play this sport in college?
Yes.
Who was a prominent coach in your sports career? Why?
Jill Masterson, because she taught me how to be more strategic with the game and also how to be a good person off the court.
How do you feel going into this season?
I feel great knowing that we defeated the defending state champions in our season opener.
What are some goals set for the team this coming season?/How do you plan to achieve these goals?
We have a goals poster hanging in our locker room an it states many different goals that we want to accomplish, that includes winning Herget, asking tournament and to become closer as a team.
Who are some big opponents/rivals? Why?
Bishop Feehan is always a good game because we match up very well and it is always fun because we always have fans for those games.
Do you think the team will make tournament?/How far do you think you’ll make it?
Yes I do, hopefully far.
