When did you start playing the sport?

I started at 6 years old.

Do you want to continue this sport in college?

Not at all.

Who was a prominent coach in your career? Why?

My coach Cheryl because she’s like the mom of the team and she has known us all since we were young.

What other activities/sports are you involved in?

Only swim.

How do you feel going into this season?

I feel like we have potential to do better than last year.

What are some goals set for the team this coming season? How do you plan to achieve them?

Our biggest goal is to make it to the State Championship meet and to win at least one of our regular meets. To do this, we have to show up and work hard at practice.

Who are some big opponents/rivals? Why?

Our biggest rival is Braintree because their assistant coach is also the assistant coach for Walpole swim team in the Summer, so we are friends with her and it is fun to compete against her.

When did you start playing the sport?

I started when I was in 1st grade.

Do you want to continue this sport in college?

I would like to continue swimming, just not on a competitive team.

Who was a prominent coach in your career? Why?

Cheryl Cavanaugh because she has been my coach since I started my swim career and she has helped me become the person I am today.

What other activities/sports are you involved in?

I am also on the golf team, and am a member of Best Buddies, Community Service club, and Art club.

How do you feel going into this season?

We have a smaller team this year so going up against some of these bigger teams is going to be a challenge but we are going to try our very best.

What are some goals set for the team this coming season? How do you plan to achieve them?

Our goal for this year is to improve on our best times as well as win as many meets as possible. We will do this by practicing everyday and trying our very best in our events.

Who are some big opponents/rivals? Why?

Our biggest opponent is Milton because every time we compete against them it is always really close and it comes down to the relays almost every time.

When did you start playing the sport?

I started in 2007.

Do you want to continue this sport in college?

No.

Who was a prominent coach in your career? Why?

Cheryl Cavanaugh because she coaches the town swim team I have done since I was little.

What other activities/sports are you involved in?

I also do robotics.

How do you feel going into this season?

I am excited to see what this season holds.

What are some goals set for the team this coming season? How do you plan to achieve them?

Our goal right now is to make it to sectionals and we can do that by cutting our times at practice.

Who are some big opponents/rivals? Why?

Our biggest opponent is Milton because they are the only other team in the league that has boys on their team.

When did you start playing the sport?

I started in 1st grade.

Do you want to continue this sport in college?

Yes.

Who was a prominent coach in your career? Why?

My club coach, Kyle, because he has taught me so much about the sport, thus, helping me grow as a swimmer.

What other activities/sports are you involved in?

I also participate in Best Buddies, NHS, and Community Service club.

How do you feel going into this season?

I feel pretty good about the season. We are going in with the smallest team we have had in a while and it will definitely be tough going against bigger teams, but I think we can overcome that and put together some good races.

What are some goals set for the team this coming season? How do you plan to achieve them?

The goal is to build as big of a sectionals and states team as we possibly can. Even with our small team, we want to go to the championship meets with a team that can compete to win. If we just show up every practice and put in the work, we can get it done.

Who are some big opponents/rivals? Why?

Braintree is definitely our biggest rival. Our whole team gets super amped up when we go against them because we know their coach, who coaches for Walpole’s town team in the summer. Milton is also another big rivalry because that meet always comes down to the last race and there is a little bad blood between us.
