The summer season is approaching quickly and students at Walpole High School (WHS) are planning to pursue many activities when school is released. The Searchlight has adventured to the halls to discover the most anticipated plans of students at WHS.
What are you looking forward to most this summer?
“I am looking forward to sleeping in the most this summer!” Ila Zollo said.
“I am looking to bring no school,” Colleen Beals said.
“I am looking forward to spending time with family and friends,” Anna McColgan said.
“Relaxing and swimming,” Sydney Dias said.
Do you have any planned vacations for this summer?
“My family is going to Puerto Rico for vacation,” Luke Zahurak said.
“I might go to Colorado,” Sophia Metcalf said.
“Yes, I am going to Washington with my friend. I am also going to my friend’s lake house in New Hampshire,” Audrey McKeen said.
“I might go to Dennis Cape Cod,” Beals said.
What’s your favorite summer activity?
“My favorite summer activity is going to the Cape with friends,” Zahurak said.
“My favorite summer activity is going to camp in Portsmouth, Cape Cod,” Mckeen said.
“Probably swimming and tanning,” Metcalf said.
“My favorite summer activity is going for drives with my friends with music playing and the windows down! Ice cream is a bonus with that,” Zollo said.
Are you planning to visit any beaches?
“I will visit Falmouth Heights Beach,” Zahurak said.
“Sagamore beach in Cape Cod,” Dias said.
“Yes, I am planning to visit many beaches during the summer, specifically the beach in Duxbury,” Mckeen said.
Are you visiting family this summer?
“I am visiting my grandparents who live in the Cape,” Zahurak said.
I’m visiting my family in my lake house,” McColgan said.
“I am visiting my brothers and non-immediate family who I do not see often,” Dias said.
“I will most likely visit my Dad’s side of the family,” Beals said.
Have you gone on any previous summer vacations you would go back to?
“I went to Costa Rica, which was my favorite vacation,” Zahurak said.
“Two years ago, my mom and I went to Paris in the summer,” Zollo said.
“I would love to go back to Sarasota, Fla,” Mckeen said.
“I would want to go back to New York City,” Beals said.
“I would love to go back to Aruba,” McColgan said.
