Breaking all the records, once again, the often-overlooked Walpole High School Cheerleader’s are unstoppable. With their seventh straight Bay State Herget title under their belts this group of cheerleaders have proven themselves as a force to be reckoned with. As if this feat alone was not enough – a record only matched by the highly acclaimed Porkers- the cheerleaders went on to place their highest yet at the regional meet, 2nd place. The competition ended in a dead lock tie between Newton North and Walpole with identical scores of 155.5. The judges were then forced to take into consideration mechanics and by half a point Newton North clinched the first place title. Though this close competition might have come as somewhat of a disappointment to the squad, they walked away with their highest placement ever, an accomplishment worth noting.
