This web site might help you out. I wrote this article a few years ago, and the sport has increased despite the NFL effort. One of the biggest difficulties is getting Europeans to understand the rules of the game. NFL Europa was a mistake, when they changed how many players would be from the host country. At first the players were to come from the host country with a few American’s included. But the idea changed to be a Farm League for American players with only two players from the host country. Now let me ask, “Who wants to watch a bunch of foreigners instead of hometown boys?” No wonder the league was losing money, nobody wants to watch foreigners play a game!
