Graduating on Sunday, the senior students who attended Boyden Elementary School passed through the elementary school hallways on May 23 for their last “Senior Walk” as enrolled members of the Walpole Public School District. Future ahead of them, they looked down to the elementary students and reflected over their own education in Walpole Public Schools. As the walk ended, many senior students checked in with their favorite elementary school teachers to make one last visit into classrooms where they once sat. Senior Katie Houser said, “Seeing and talking to all my old teachers brought back so many memories and nostalgia. It’s amazing how far all of us have come, and you could tell that all of our previous teachers were so proud. The little kids looked so happy to see us in our caps and gowns and hopefully they can be inspired to be like us someday.” Written by Lindsay Cordopatri.
