Matt Donato

When did you first begin playing this sport?

When I was four or five years old.

Do you want to continue this sport in college?

Yes. I am committed to play at Tufts University.

Who was a prominent coach in your sports career? Why?

Mr. Killeen. He was my little league coach and helped turn me into the player I am today.

What other activities/clubs are you involved in?

I played Rec. Basketball and also work at RBI Academy.

How do you feel going into this season?

Confident. Were in good shape coming into the season, we just need to continue to practice hard and we can not afford any injuries or suspensions.

What are some goals set for the team this coming season?/How do you plan to achieve these goals?

Super 8 champions, everything else is basically a disappointment. We are returning almost everyone from last year so we all have Super 8 experience. I think injuries and suspensions are the only thing that can stop us.

Who are some big opponents/rivals? Why?

Wellesley, they beat us last year and it is always intense when we play them. Braintree, they were the big dog in the league before last year and they will be out for revenge. Needham, they won the D1 state championship and it is always tough when we play them.
