Of course, our final goal is to make the Super Bowl, but at least a home game in the second round of the tournament (final eight). Last year, we traveled to Hanover and lost by one point—being at home could have changed that.
What is your pre-game ritual? (Songs, pre-game meals, etc.)
I always drink an insane amount of water on game day. I don’t really like to talk in the locker room. I only really get amped once we step on the field.

What advice do you have for underclassmen who play your sport?
Get your mindset right. To play football, you need to switch into a different mindset than anything else you will do throughout the day. You need controlled anger to be successful.
What team do you look forward to playing this season? Why?
Milton and KP. We’ve lost to Milton two years in a row, last year being our last regular season loss, it will be huge to beat them this year. KP has always been our off-season rival, playing them in 7v7 leagues as well as seeing them at preseason camp and practices. They might be the best team we see all year.
