On week 4 of ABC’s “The Bachelor,” the 13 remaining ladies vied for Juan Pablo’s attention and as the competition became fiercer, the women revealed their claws. In the latest episode, which aired January 27, the girls traveled abroad for an adventure with Juan Pablo. During their sojourn in Seoul, South Korea, it became clear that some girls have stronger relationships with the bachelor than others. For future episodes, there will be the Rose Rankings where the girls are rated based on their connection with Juan Pablo.
1. Andi – The legal prosecutor has only been on group dates so far, but she makes the most of her time with Juan Pablo. The two definitely have chemistry and they have an easy, comfortable relationship. Juan Pablo said that a lot of people don’t get his sense of humor, but Andi does. She isn’t involved in any of the drama with the other girls, and she has been one of the fan favorites from the start.
2. Renee – The single mom from Florida has yet to give viewers a reason to dislike her, and she could be a perfect fit for Juan Pablo. She is a single mother, which is a huge asset considering Juan Pablo is looking for a stepmother for his daughter Camila. She gets along well with the other ladies and has comforted them when they are upset. Her great personality and maternal experience is sure to keep her on the show for a long time.
3. Cassandra – Like Renee, the former NBA dancer has an advantage in the contest for Juan Pablo’s heart because she is also a single mom. Their first date was simple, and they cooked dinner, which is similar to everyday life. Their strong connection proves that they are compatible and their relationship could survive after the show.
4. Nikki – Although she was involved with a lot of the drama this episode, Nikki is the kind of girl Juan Pablo is looking for. She sees the show as a competition and she plays to win, which means her relationship with the other girls is no bed of roses. However, Nikki is great with children, and she seems to genuinely care about Juan Pablo. She was awarded the rose on both of the group dates she went on, and she has definitely captured Juan Pablo’s attention.
5. Clare – Despite her possessive tendencies and involvement in the drama between the girls, Juan Pablo is captivated by her. He constantly calls her beautiful and even kisses her after rejecting Lauren. The bachelor seems to have strong feelings for Clare, but how much longer can she last on the show when she is constantly jealous of her “future husband” spending time with other girls?
6. Chelsie – The 24 year old science teacher from Ohio has a great personality. She doesn’t have a really strong romantic connection with Juan Pablo, but they had fun together on their date and there is definitely a chance their relationship could progress into something more. Chelsie is one of the younger girls on the show, but she seems very responsible and capable of being a stepmom.
7. Sharleen – It’s a mystery why Juan Pablo is captivated in Sharleen. He has called her elegant since the first episode, but she hasn’t shown much interest in him. She has told the other girls that her conversations with him are boring and she’s told the cameras that she doesn’t feel a connection. It’s only a matter of time before Sharleen goes home because she openly admitted that her first priority is her job, and she is not ready for a family. Juan Pablo said he was impressed by her honesty, but there’s no way their relationship will last.
8. Kat – She’s definitely comfortable around Juan Pablo. She may even be a bit too comfortable. Kat showed that she loves to be in the spotlight at the pool party last week, when she wasted no time and immediately climbed onto his shoulders. She came off as desperate on the group date. It was obvious she was the best dancer out of the girls on the date, but she overdid it.
9. Alli – It’s a shame the sweet nanny from Illinois didn’t get too much time with Juan Pablo. They barely have a connection, and although she seems to have a great personality, the bachelor hasn’t taken much of an interest. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Alli will have much time left on the show.
10. Kelly – An enthusiastic dog lover, Kelly stood out on her first group date when she showcased her good sportsmanship after being transformed into a dog for a photoshoot. However, she hasn’t had any other shining moments. Kelly gets along fine with the other girls, but she and Juan Pablo don’t have a spark and it’s highly unlikely that they could have a future together.
11. Danielle – The 25 year old psychiatric nurse hasn’t shown much of her personality on the show. She doesn’t seem to have anything more than a friendship with Juan Pablo, and she blends into the background during group dates and cocktail parties. Danielle will definitely be sent home soon, if not next episode.
The next episode of “The Bachelor” airs tonight, February 3, at 8pm on ABC. Juan Pablo and the girls will travel to Vietnam, where some relationships will continue to grow and others will come to an end. Every rose may have its thorn, but some of the girls definitely have more thorns than others.
