Rebel Round Up: Fall Season

Field Hockey (9-0-1): The Porkers are off to a strong start continuing on their great season last year only giving up one tie to Braintree. On Oct. 3, the Porkers beat Milton 11-0. 

 

Golf: (5-5): Golf has their last match Thursday, Oct. 17 against Milton. They are currently preparing for sectionals, which are next week. 

 

Boys soccer (2-8-1): Boys soccer beat Milton 3-0 on Oct. 3 and hope to keep up the wins after they let up three losses to Brookline, Bishop Feehan and Needham. 

 

Girls soccer (2-6-1): The girls pick up a strong win against Milton winning 5-0 despite losing a few games to start off the season. On Oct. 14, the girls fell to Framingham 2-1. 

 

Girls cross country (5-2): The girls have started off with five wins out of seven of their meets to start off the season. They will hold their senior night meet on Wednesday, Oct. 16. 

 

Boys cross country (4-3): Boys cross country won their meet against Natick on Oct. 2 and have started off their season winning 4 of their meets. Their next meet, along with the girls, is their senior night at home on Oct. 16. 

 

Football (2-3): Football started off their season with a strong win against Norwood, then lost to Wellesley and Natick. On Sept. 27 the boys gave up their third loss to Milton, who is a strong competitor of theirs, and then beat Brookline on Oct. 6. 

 

Swimming and diving (3-5): The Rebels started off their season strong, with two consecutive wins against NDA of Hingham and Marshfield. Their next meet is Friday Oct. 18 against Brookline. 

 

Volleyball (4-9): With a tough loss against Milton on October 3, Rebvol hopes to pick up a few more wins to finish the season strong. They play Weymouth on Oct. 15.
