When did you first start playing the sport?

I started playing in third grade.

Do you want to continue this sport in college?

No, I do not plan to continuing playing in college

Who was a prominent coach in your sports career? Why?

A prominent coach in my sports career was my volleyball coach in high school. She taught me how to be a leader and how to become better as an athlete overall.

What other activities/sports are you involved in?

I also play volleyball.

How do you feel going into this season?

I am looking forward to creating a stronger team and being able to compete against other teams.

What are some goals set for the team this coming season? How do you plan to achieve them?

Our goals are bonding as a team to allow us to become more comfortable with each other and are able to trust one another so we play better together as a whole.

Who are some big opponents/rivals? Why?

Norwood is definitely a big rival of ours because they have a very strong program as well, so it is a very tough matchup.

When did you first start playing the sport?

I started playing the sport in second grade, but didn’t start playing games until I was in third grade.

Do you want to continue this sport in college? No, I do not want to play basketball in college.

Who was a prominent coach in your sports career? Why?

Mr. Scales taught me everything I knew when I was younger, he was a great coach and person and made basketball fun for us all but also he wanted to win which was important.

What other activities/sports are you involved in?

I also play field hockey and lacrosse and I am a part of student council.

How do you feel going into this season?

Tryouts are happening soon so I am excited.

What are some goals set for the team this coming season? How do you plan to achieve them?

We have not played yet but some goals put in place are to win every game we play, become closer as a team, work hard when we need to, and to stay positive during COVID.

Who are some big opponents/rivals? Why?

Norwood is always a rival because they seem to be good at every sport, Natick is also a rival because they are always a battle for us and I feel like we are pretty even skill-wise so it could go either way in the games we play against them. Another rival would be Needham because we always beat them in the Thanksgiving tournament but do not do as well in the regular season, and every time we play them it’s a very hard game.
