I’ve been playing lacrosse since third grade.
What position do you play?
I play midfield.
What is your favorite part of lacrosse?
My favorite part about lacrosse is the friendship I have made along the way. I’ve been playing with the same girls since third grade and it’s so fun to grow up together playing a sport you love.
Are you thinking about continuing your lacrosse career in college?
Yes, I’m playing lacrosse at UMass Amherst next year.
Do you have any advice you would like to give to lacrosse newcomers?
Always work hard because in the end it will pay off.
Jenna Wong
How long have you been playing lacrosse for?
I have been playing lacrosse since the fourth grade.
What position do you play?
I play attack.
What is your favorite part of lacrosse?
My favorite part about lacrosse, besides the awesome teammates it has given me, is the fact that you can always improve at it. No matter how good you are or where you are, you can always work your stick skills with Wall Ball or just pass around with a friend.
Are you thinking about continuing your lacrosse career in college?
I am committed to Babson College for lacrosse.
What has your experience been like so far in lacrosse?
So far, my lacrosse experience has been rocky but I am super excited for what college lacrosse has in store! There were many times I felt like giving up on the sport or I felt like I wasn’t ever good enough to play in college but I got through those rough patches and learned to change my mindset!
Do you have any advice you would like to give to lacrosse newcomers?
My advice to new lacrosse players is to not give up on the sport. It can be really frustrating and challenging to learn lacrosse but just by doing wall ball 10 minutes a day or just challenging yourself at things you’re not good at, you will eventually get better. Lacrosse doesn’t just come easy for anyone but by practicing and sticking with it, you will get the hang of it.

I play attack.
What is your favorite part of lacrosse?
My favorite part of lacrosse is how competitive yet close our team is. I also love how fast paced the game is.
Are you thinking about continuing lacrosse in college?
Yes, I will continue my lacrosse career at Bryant University.
What has your experience been like so far in lacrosse?
Amazing. It can definitely get difficult at times but in the end it is all worth it.
Do you have any advice you would like to give to lacrosse newcomers?
No matter what the circumstances, put in the work. You’re always being watched and your hard work will never get unnoticed.

I play defense.
What is your favorite part of lacrosse?
The people are the best part of playing lacrosse.
Are you thinking about continuing lacrosse in college?
I don’t plan on playing in college.
What has your experience been like so far in lacrosse?
I have loved my experience playing lacrosse. I love that my teammates and I can always push each other while also always being there for each other. It’s just a really good community to be a part of.
Do you have any advice you would like to give to lacrosse newcomers?
I would say the most important thing is to always bring a good attitude and 100% effort.
