Miley Cyrus– Miley was definitely the teen pop sensation of our childhoods, and back then there were two of her—her and her alter ego on her show Hannah Montana. Since the Teen Choice Awards in 2009 when she supposedly “pole danced” on an ice cream truck, America knew she wanted to change her image. Since then, she has occurred on The Last Song, LOL, and So Undercover; movies that aren’t so “Disney.” Since Summer 2012, she has been wearing the extremely short platinum blonde hair. How’s that for a change?
Jonas Brothers- They were the Elvis or the Beatles of their time, at least for a little while, but they certainly got washed away with the rise of the new heartthrob Justin Bieber. After a two year split, the Jonas Brothers are making music for their upcoming album in between their side jobs and will be kicking off a national tour on July 10. “Are the Jonas Brothers breaking up??” No, they’re brothers. They will always be the Jonas Brothers. Their first single from the album, “Pom Poms” is available now on iTunes.
Kevin– It was the year of 2007 when the boys took the title as the three heartthrobs, or one could say two heartthrobs. Kevin didn’t get as much love from the ladies as his brother did. But whatever, now he is married to the gorgeous, Danielle Jonas, so he probably isn’t phased much. Kevin has his own reality show on E! about him and Danielle called “Married to Jonas,” featuring his brothers every once and a while. E! is definitely a step up from the Disney Channel network, considering the fact it also airs the popular shows “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” “Ice Loves Coco,” and “Chelsea Lately.”
Nick is going to be starring in a movie called “Careful What You Wish For.” He is playing a guy named “Doug Martin.” He told MTV that it’s a “really intense sort of sexy thriller with a lot of twists and turns.” It’s going to be kind of odd seeing Nick Jonas on the big screen without his brothers, but a lover. He also shares that “there will be some sexy times.” Be prepared, Jonas fans! It’s not about the rocking of the stage anymore. Instead, he will be rocking the big screen.
Joe Jonas is the the tambourine player, known for breaking Taylor Swift’s heart. He is no longer the only victim on Taylor Swift’s albums, and he is not the only victim for supposedly having a “sex tape.” The rumors are false, but come on. If this was 2007, would reporters even have to ask Joe if it was true? He’s dating a model, and he certainly has grown up, but let’s not push it. One thing is for sure: he’s back from his solo career, making music with his brothers.
Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens- Both these beauties used to have a reputation for being super innocent, especially because they took on Disney Channel roles. Since Selena’s PDA filled relationship with Justin Bieber and Vanessa’s not so innocent relationship with Zac Efron in the past, these stars have definitely taken baby steps up to adulthood. But now they have decided to debut their adulthood in the scandalous R-rated new movie “Spring Breakers,” where they both happen to be wearing bikinis for pretty much the entirety of the film. Clearly, these two wanted to prove they could take on any audience. Should we mention the movie got horrible reviews? Maybe they should stick to being more like their Disney characters, or doing something that involves clothes.
