Hate to break it to you, but we’re still here. Did you think our Indie spirits would fade out so quickly? No, we’re here to keep it Indie, and with this playlist of what we’re listening to so can you.
If you thought Lana del Rey was a thing of the past, you were so sadly mistaken and clearly you don’t love her now that she’s no longer just young and beautiful. Her latest album “Ultraviolence” revitalizes Lana’s husky voice with a charmingly retro feel to it, and with “Money Power Glory” and “Brooklyn Baby,” we’re merely giving you a taste. Clearly we aren’t the biggest pop fans, but Sia’s “Chandelier” evokes some strange emotion within is. The odd and distressing yet beautifully unique music video for the track only makes us love it more—no matter how much we’ve resisted. More well known artists such as the 1975, Lorde, and Grouplove are among our current favorites, but we’ve also thrown in the perhaps up-and-coming Chet Faker, Banks, and Vance Joy.
We hope you like our latest song choices. If not, then we’re sorry—but also not because you’re missing out. Keep it Indie.
