Who was a prominent coach in your sports career? Why?

My first coach because he was the one who showed me the game and taught me the fundamentals.

What other activities/clubs are you involved in?

None.

How do you feel going into this season?

Confident.

What are some goals set for the team this coming season?/How do you plan to achieve these goals?

Make the tournament. We plan on achieving this by having a winning record over the course of the season.

Who are some big opponents?

Franklin, Natick, CM and Milton. These teams are rivals because we always have close games that are decided by 1 match. They also are opponents who we match up well against.

Do you think the team will make tournament/post season? How far do you think you’ll make it?

I think we’ll make the tournament and I think we have the potential to go far in the tournament.

Who was a prominent coach in your sports career? Why?

I’ve had Coach Gough for all four years playing tennis. Coach has been amazing at assembling a good team, developing less skilled players, and letting us enjoy playing tennis.

What other activities/clubs are you involved in?

Band.

How do you feel going into this season?

We should have a very good team. We lost only a few seniors from last years team, only one who played varsity, and we have three freshmen coming in who could all take varsity spots.

What are some goals set for the team this coming season?/How do you plan to achieve these goals?

After making the playoffs last year, I expect that we will return this year and hopefully win at least one game, but hopefully many more. Our team is certainly good enough to make a big run.

Who are some big opponents?

Natick. We have always been rivals with them in tennis and the last few years we have had very equal teams. However, with the new talented players we have coming in, we should beat them this year.

Do you think the team will make tournament/post season? How far do you think you’ll make it?

We should make the postseason after making it last year. We should win a few playoff games, at the very least. The Division II may be a little ambitious due to how young our team is, but it is certainly possible.
