April 2025 held some of America’s favorite festivals, Coachella and Stagecoach have taken place and outfits worn by celebrities have gone viral. While public response to many of the outfits have been mixed, the 2025 festival season has undeniably left its mark on style. The outstanding trends have defined 2025’s festival season so far.
Coachella 2025 occurred in the middle and end of April. The 24th year of Choachella was located at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The headliners this year included Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone and Travis Scott. Additionally, other musical guests played throughout the night. Most commonly people tend to wear boho, cowboy and western, sheer and lace and black and dark romance.
The 18th year Stagecoach took place from April 25-27, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, the same location as Coachella. This year’s headliners were Zach Bryan, Jelly Roll and Luke Combs. Following the country theme most people wear cowboy boots and hats, jean shorts, bandanas and red, white and blue. The famous theme that occurs is, Friday Night Lights, a night to wear your favorite sports gear. This year provided specialty Stagecoach jerseys.
This year, many festival attendees and online commentators expressed disappointment with several of the outfits seen at Coachella and to a lesser extent, Stagecoach. The backlash was widespread enough to reach celebrities and influencers alike. Some of the most criticized looks came from influencers like Katie Fang, whose mini skirt drew negative attention and Demitra Kalogeras, whose shorts sparked debate. High-profile names like Charlie D’Amelio and James Charles also faced backlash. Even celebrities including Julia Fox, Paris Hilton and Kylie Jenner, had people saying their outfits were “weird,” “didn’t fit the vibe” or “just weren’t practical at Coachella.”
Recently 2025 festival fashion has not stolen any hearts. There were some amazing and loved looks seen among the bad but this start to the 2025 festival season has not been very well liked and will hopefully improve with the upcoming events.
