As the weather gets colder, cooking in an air fryer provides more options for dinner time. Luckily, there are many quick and delicious meals to make in an air fryer in the warmth of indoors. Try and enjoy these recipes during the upcoming winter months!
1. Chicken Parmesan
This is a warm and comforting meal, and the process should take no more than 45 minutes.
You’ll need chicken breasts, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and Italian seasoning. Begin by preheating the air fryer to 350 degrees. Cut the chicken breasts horizontally in half and set them to the side. In a separate bowl, combine bread crumbs, 6 tablespoons of parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and Italian seasoning. Then, take another separate bowl to crack and mix eggs. Dip the cut chicken breasts in the egg followed by the breadcrumb mixture and make sure each piece is evenly covered. Put the chicken breasts in the air fryer and spray with cooking spray. Air fry for 8-11 minutes and be sure to flip the chicken halfway through. Plate the chicken then add two tablespoons of marinara sauce to each piece, finish by sprinkling mozzarella cheese on top and enjoy!
2. Stuffed Pork Chops
This recipe only takes 30 short minutes and should provide a good amount of food, which is especially good if you have guests over.
For this recipe, you will need pork chops, box stuffing, and olive oil spray. You will need The first step is to make stove top stuffing by the directions on the box, then set aside. Begin by cutting a horizontal slice through each porkchop almost to the bone to create a pocket. Put the stuffing into each cut pork chop, then season each one to your liking. Next, preheat the air fryer to 330 degrees and spray with olive oil spray. When heated, place the pork chops in the air fryer and top with olive oil spray. Cook the pork chops on one side for thirteen minutes, then flip, spray with cookie spray and cook for 5-6 minutes. Take the pork chops out of the air fryer, let cool and serve with any sides!
3. Frozen Ribeye Steak
Steak is a staple for many dinners, but sometimes remembering to take the meat out of the freezer may slip one’s mind. With this 30 minute recipe, frozen steak can be cooked to deliciousness.
Start by spraying the frozen steak with olive oil on each side. Season with salt, pepper, rosemary, and garlic powder. Spray the inside of the air fryer before placing your steak inside. Cooking time varies depending how well done one likes their steak. For a rare ribeye, cook at 125-130 degrees for 8-10 minutes on each side. For a medium ribeye, cook at 140-150 degrees for 11-12 minutes on each side and for a well done ribeye, cook at 160 degrees for 12-15 minutes on each side. Take the steak out of the air fryer, serve with any sides and enjoy.
4. Buffalo Chicken Taquitos
These buffalo chicken taquitos, last but not least, is a good dish to make if you have leftover chicken.
You’ll need shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, spicy buffalo sauce, garlic powder and warm corn tortillas. You will begin by combining cream cheese, buffalo sauce, sour cream, garlic power, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth. Add the chicken into the bowl and fold until the chicken is well covered. Preheat the air fryer to 450 degrees before microwaving your tortillas for 30-60 seconds. Lay out a warmed tortilla and sprinkle cheese down the middle followed by about 3 tablespoons of chicken mixture. Roll up the tortilla and secure with a toothpick and repeat until there are ten rolled taquitos. Place the taquitos in the air fryer and lightly spray with olive oil. Air Fry on one side for 5 minutes before flipping for another 3-5 minutes. Serve hot with any dressings and enjoy!
