Dunkin’ Donuts

Dunkalatte
The drink tasted similar to the signature Dunkin’ latte with more of a homemade coffee feel. The espresso taste was rich with bitterness, but had a nice added sweetness with the additional flavor of the coffee milk. The drink was not too strong or overly sweet, so there was a perfect ratio of the classic coffee flavor with a smoother texture.

Pistachio Coffee
The coffee was much like Dunkin’s regular iced coffee, but is made with the pistachio flavored syrup. It is not as sweet as a typical flavored coffee, but the pistachio adds a nutty richness that’s almost buttery. However, the flavor of the pistachio is very faint which makes for a lighter coffee. The pistachio flavor could have been slightly stronger to make for a more nutty flavor, but the coffee itself is definitely a good choice for those who like a less sweet drink.

Ham and Swiss Pretzel Sliders
The pretzel bun gives the snack a sweet and salty flavor, with a soft doughy texture that perfectly contrasts with the savory fillings. The ham is salty with a smoky flavor, while the swiss cheese complements the richness of the ham. With the saltiness from the ham, the melty cheese and the sweetness of the bun creates a perfect handheld snack.

Iced Cherry Chai
The Iced Cherry Chai is a unique blend of fruity and spiced flavors. The cherry brings a tart flavor that cuts through the heaviness of the chai’s base. The chai spices taste strongly of cinnamon while still being very sweet. The cherry adds a balance with its tart taste, making the spice of the chai not too strong. Though the drink was filled with contrasting flavors, there was a tang to the cherry that closely resembled an unpleasant medicine flavor.

Iced Lavender Cream Oat Milk Matcha
The matcha has an earthy flavor that is bitter, but is evened out with the creaminess of the oat milk. The lavender in the drink has a distinct floral flavor with a touch of sweetness without it being too overpowering. However, the lavender flavor may be a bit too much for those who dislike a strong lavender taste. The oat milk provides a nutty sweetness that complements both the lavender and matcha, creating a refreshing and soothing drink.

Iced Lavender Latte
This drink combines a bold and slightly bitter espresso, with a sweet and floral taste from lavender. The milk adds depth to the beverage’s flavor that helps bring together the contrasting flavors. The lavender is not too overpowering but still provides a noticeable floral taste that is noticeable after the espresso’s bitterness fades. It’s a smooth drink with the perfect balance of floral flavor alongside the bitter coffee.

Lavender Creme Frappuccino
The Lavender Creme Frappuccino is a dessert-like treat with a light floral taste. The creamy base is similar to vanilla ice cream with a very smooth texture. The lavender definitely tastes floral like but isn’t overwhelming with the overall sweetness adding to the dessert flavor effect.

Jalapeno Chicken Pocket
The Jalapeno Chicken Pocket offers a savory flavor that is balanced with the spice from the jalapenos. The heat from the peppers is upfront at a mild level spice which is evened out with creamy cheese and tender chicken to add some smoothness to the wrap. The chicken itself has a subtle flavor, while the cheese melts and binds everything together, creating that rich texture. The pocket’s doughy exterior provides a satisfying contrast to the smooth filling and the intense flavor. The overall taste was savory and spicy with a very rich texture from the chicken and cheese to ensure a punch of flavor in every bite.

Lavender Powder
Lavender powder has a light, floral flavor with a more sour taste. It’s not as intense as fresh lavender but its flavor is definitely noticeable within the first few sips. The sweetness is very subtle but still has a calming and refreshing taste. This powder can be a great addition to any drink without being too overpowering.
