Starbucks released their 2025 holiday menu on Nov. 6 with the return of previous seasonal items and the addition of several new items. The peppermint mocha is the usual favorite; however the iced sugar cookie latte is the most sold holiday item this year. The seasonal menu is available for purchase through early January.

Peppermint Mocha

This seasonal coffee can come hot, iced or blended with strong chocolate and mint flavors. Its popularity during the winter made this caffeinated drink a regular menu item, allowing customers to get a taste of the holidays year round. The combination of strong peppermint, rich mocha and light whipped cream makes for a beverage packed with flavor. This drink can also be purchased in K-Cup form to make at home. 

Iced Sugar Cookie Latte

The latte is the perfect combination of sweetness and bitterness.The blonde espresso is the perfect choice for this holiday season, ensuring that the coffee flavor does not overpower the sweetness of the sugar cookie flavoring. This drink is the perfect choice if you are looking for a caffeinated beverage that is on the sweeter side. 

Caramel Brûlée Latte

The Caramel Brûlée Latte is a popular item with its sweet flavor profile. The mix between Starbucks’s signature espresso, their flavorful caramel brûlée sauce, the light whipped cream and the crunchy caramel brûlée bits make for a drink that tastes just like a holiday party dessert. This caramel beverage has a much stronger flavor than other year round menu items. 

Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread

Much like their other croissant items on the menu, Starbucks’s Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread has a flakey outside with a soft inside. The pillow-like pastry is paired with a crunchy streusel topping to make for the perfect texture. However, the treat lacks a strong cinnamon flavor, creating an overall bland taste. 

Polar Bear Cake Pop 

The Polar Bear Cake Pop is just like any other cake pop option on the menu: soft on the inside while coated with a shell-like layer of chocolate around the outside. The vanilla cake and buttercream inside paired with the white chocolate shell outside make for the perfect cake pop texture. However, despite the enjoyable taste, it does not stand out compared to other products that are sold year round, such as the birthday cake cake pop. 

Iced Gingerbread Chai

This spice infused drink is a holiday season classic with its prominent cinnamon and ginger flavor. The drink is made with Starbucks’s traditional chai base with the addition of their gingerbread syrup and gingerbread spiced cold foam.

Snowman Cookie

This festive treat is decorated with white chocolate icing to mimic a frosty winter snowman. Despite its appetizing appeal, the cookie is quite crumbly and lacks flavor; however, the texture of the cookie was pleasant even though it often broke into several pieces after the first bite. 

Cranberry Bliss Bar

This sweet treat made from a blonde cake, dried cranberries and a smooth cream cheese frosting makes for the perfect holiday dessert. With a touch of orange zest combined with a light sprinkle of almonds, the bar’s subtle flavors combine to create a very bold taste. The treat is rich, yet still light enough for a late afternoon snack.
