Conan Gray brought his “Wishbone World Tour” to Boston’s TD Garden on Feb. 25. It was the fourth show of the tour, with shows beginning on Feb. 19 in Minneapolis, MN. After releasing a 12-track album in Aug. 2025, Gray went on a smaller-scaled theater tour, titled “The Wishbone Pajama Show.” However, this time, Gray had new songs on the setlist, new outfits and more stellar vocal moments.
As a support act for this tour, Australian singer-songwriter, Esha Tewari, performed six of her songs, all of which showed Tewari’s elegance and beauty, while also being comedic and cheeky.
After Tewari, Gray came onstage at roughly 9 p.m., beginning with “My World” off of his album, “Wishbone.” Fans roared with excitement as Gray admired the audience and showed off his incredible vocals. Shortly after, Gray performed fan-favorite tracks: “Wish You Were Sober,” “The Cut That Always Bleeds” and “People Watching,” during which he greeted fans along a barricaded pit section. Gray was handed a pride flag by a fan, which many audience members had left their signatures on. He proudly presented the flag during the track’s chorus, similar to traditions from the “Superache” tour back in 2022.
Each show, Gray has a section where he performs a random song to surprise fans, this set is titled “Conan’s Campfire,” where he performed “Movies” off of his 2022 album, “Superache.” Later on in the show, Gray picks a member of the audience, often one he thinks is best-dressed, to break a wishbone. If the fan gets the long end of the stick, they select the surprise song. However, if they get the short end, Gray picks the song; often, Gray returns the long end to the fan and lets them pick. Boston’s wishbone was given to a fan named River who chose “Sunset Tower” off of the “Wishbone” album.
As the show continued, Gray performed more fan favorite tracks and each song from “Wishbone,” aside from the album’s lead single, “This Song.” Gray has not openly stated why he chose not to perform the track. As another surprise to fans, Gray has performed a new, unreleased song, titled “The Best” at each show. The release date for the track is still unannounced. In addition to the unreleased song, fans have been speculating that Gray might be releasing a deluxe version of “Wishbone” soon; however, nothing is currently confirmed. The show closed out with “Memories” and “Caramel,” with wishbone-themed confetti dropping during the last chorus.
The “Wishbone World Tour” is a celebration of Gray and his music, and both people who only knew one or two songs, along with superfans were sure to have a great night. The tour will continue through October 2026, with shows spanning across the globe.
