Football: The Rebels kept their streak alive this past Friday night, November 2, against the Dedham Marauders. They would win the game 47-0. Junior quarterback Will Bolster and the offense played so well that the backups would be in before halftime. The Rebels play the Natick Redhawks this Friday night at Natick High School. This game decides their playoff dreams.

Field Hockey: The Porkers played their first playoff game this past Saturday, November 3, 9-0 against Somerset. The first two goals of the game would be scored by senior Nicky Browne, who would go on to score again, getting the hat trick. Junior Brooke Matherson, also a former MVR of the week, scored another hat trick as well. They played their second playoff game tonight, November 5, against Wellesley, who they would beat by a score of 1-0. The girls play this Wednesday, November 7, against Dennis-Yarmouth.

Boys Soccer: Friday night, November 2, the boys soccer team played Durfee, beating them in penalty kicks by a score of 2-1. Junior Peter Hoegler played a great game and even better during the PK’s. On Sunday, November 4, they played 7th ranked in the state New Bedford winning the game in the last 4 minutes with a goal from junior A.J. Chauvin. The final score would be 1-0.

Girls Soccer: Rebsoc played Wellesley November 2, winning 1-0 with the game winner coming from senior Captain Seana Cofsky. It would be the first playoff win in 11 years. On Sunday, November 11, the girls took on Bishop Feehan and would lose by 3-1. The only goal would come from junior Karalyn Kickham. Their season has ended.

Volleyball: The Volleyball team played Braintree last Wednesday, October 31, by a score of 3-1. This win put them into tournament. They received a bye in the first round and play Dartmouth tomorrow at Dartmouth High School. They also played Norton on Tuesday, October 30, winning by a score of 3-1.

Boys Cross Country: Last Saturday, November 3, 6 boys raced at the coache’s invitational meet. They all raced hard but none would achieve total victory. This Saturday, Novemeber 10, is the division 3 championship race. Good luck guys!

Most Valuable Rebel of the Week: Junior Goal Keeper Peter Hoegler is this week’s MVR. Perfection is a must in the playoffs and Hoegler did just that, allowing his team to win against Durfee 2-1 in penalty kicks. This in turn allowed their season to continue. Great job!

Unsung Rebel(s) of the Week: Rebsoc are this week’s Unsung Rebels! Even though their season is over, they still made it to the playoffs after a rough regular season. They won their first playoff game in 11 years and that is a notable achievement. Congrats girls!

Biggest Upset of the Week: Boys Soccer gets this week’s biggest upset. They beat a team ranked number 7 in the state and won in the last four minutes of the game. If that’s not an upset, than I don’t know what is!
